The Opposite of AI: A Live Phone Call from the Real Santa
Since 2004, one mom has made sure Santa never stopped calling.
SIOUX CITY, Iowa: This Christmas, families can give their children something rare: a good old-fashioned telephone call from Santa Claus. Santa Speaking offers a live, personalized phone call from Santa himself.
Just like the real Santa, he knows everything: their name, their best friend, and whether they've been naughty or nice, right down to the details (thanks to a few notes from Mom and Dad when they book). And Santa always shares a few tips to help them stay on the Nice List.
No AI. No prerecorded messages.
Calls begin November 27 and run through Christmas Eve. Since 2004, Santa has made more than 70,000 live calls to children around the world. Families can book at santaspeaking.live.
It started more than 22 years ago, when Anne Gaskell wanted her two little girls, ages two and four, to hear Santa's voice on the phone. So she made it happen. Today those two little girls are fully grown. Gaskell, known to families as Elf Annie, now has five children. And Santa is still calling.
"Parents work really hard to give their children a Christmas they will remember forever," said Gaskell. "Often those memories are made in simple traditions, like a personal phone call from Santa. That's what we hope to give every family. A simple, magical memory of Santa Claus."
Santa Speaking calls children, larger families, classrooms, and even grown-ups who still believe. Santa can also share a gentle word during a hard year, like a big move, a new baby, or missing someone special.
Santa Speaking has been featured on CNN, TODAY, Good Morning America, FOX, Telemundo, Rachael Ray, NPR, AP, USA Today, the Chicago Sun-Times, The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times.
